The Living Room by Adsideo has been made available in order to provide a "3rd place" for our neighbors living in the Sellwood/West Moreland area.  Our desire is to cultivate healthy discussion, relational cohesiveness, social responsibility, and community awareness. 

We believe that every neighborhood needs a place that encourages and promotes "face-to-face" encounters.  We do value the interconnectivity that one can experience through various forms of technology, however, we believe that people need to participate in discussions that require relational investment.  This is an investment that cannot be experienced through a keyboard or multimedia, but can only be accomplished through relational presence.  In essence, we want to encourage our neighbors to come out of their homes and encounter the beauty of affiliation.  For many living in our society the home represents a deprivation that starves them of social interaction.  If we want our neighborhoods and communities to find harmony, then we must encourage one another to participate in conversations that promote a greater social awareness and develops a resurgence of vested responsibility and interest.  We shall continue to invest in seeking out ways to advocate, unite and foster healthy gatherings in our neighborhood, as we seek the greater good.

We offer free wireless internet & cable television; french press coffee, tea, & pastries for sale; and availability to rent out the space for your private event needs.
